Trained in website creation over 20 years ago, I put my experience to work on your projects.
Hi, I’m Hedia.
Hedia Media is my independent practice, where I design and build websites, create content and make publications for organisations and people with something to say.
I work mainly with NGOs, non-profits and purpose-driven organisations — projects where communication isn’t just about looking good, but about helping an idea, a cause or an organisation reach the people who need to hear about it.
My route into digital wasn’t exactly conventional. Trained as a lawyer, I eventually swapped the legal codes for lines of code. My legal background taught me to be rigorous; digital gave me a more creative way to put those skills to work.
I work in French and English, and I like projects that sit somewhere between design, technology and communication. Sometimes that’s a website. Sometimes it’s an annual report, a newsletter or a brochure. Sometimes it’s a piece of content or a publication that needs to work equally well on screen and on paper.
I care about websites that are clear, accessible and light. The internet consumes a surprising amount of energy, so making lighter websites isn’t just good practice — it seems like the least we can do.
There are no generic solutions. Every organisation has its own story, audience and way of working, so I like to start by understanding what’s needed before deciding what to build.
If you’re working on something you care about, I’d love to hear about it.
Your project deserves a conversation.
